  • Early Planning We are always willing to help formulate budgets for project planning and fund raising.  We can share ideas for encouraging donations from your community and patrons that have worked for other Libraries.  Experienced evaluation and analysis will help you plan with confidence and find your project's direction.
     
  • Space Planning & Management We can help maximize the use of your existing and new spaces while considering ADA implications, staffing limitations, traffic patterns, sight lines and security concerns.  Professional CAD drawings enable us to offer different variations of floor plans for shelving and furnishings to refine the most functional, practical and efficient use of space.
     
  • Product Development, Modification & Custom Design We offer many outstanding standard products that have long been recognized as being among the library industry's finest and most enduring.  Knowing our products so well through years of extensive 'hands-on" experience enables us to suggest unique modifications, or even completely original designs to meet individual preferences.  Custom designs are CAD generated, and we will dispel the notion that "custom" and "expensive" are synonymous.
     
  • Drawings and Specifications Project-specific CAD drawings can be produced showing overall floor plans and individual product details.  Complete item-by-item specifications can be generated to ensure an absolute minimum standard of quality and workmanship is established and enforceable for your project.
     
  • Product Delivery and Installation Academic Furnishings accepts all furnishing and shelving deliveries for your library so any related issues are not your concern.  Flexible scheduling for delivery and installation of furnishings minimizes interference with the function of your library.  We exclusively use factory trained and authorized installation professionals, and our organization is fully bonded and insured.
